Panzer IV, or Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. H, is the German version of Medium Tank in the game. It has seven action points, one short compared to the Panzer III Light Tank, One more compared to the Tiger Heavy Tank. It has an attack range of three tiles. The Panzer IV forms the heart of the German Army

The Panzer IV was designed to support the Panzer III during combats with the Soviet tanks. But as soon as they found out that the Panzer III was inferior on taking down Soviet's T-34-76s, their role were switched, prompting the Germans to produce more Panzer IV instead and later ending the production of Panzer III. The game featured Panzer IV Ausf. H, which features side skirts covering the sides of the tank tracks, thus adding more protection. But the side skirts also proved to be useless as the side skirts were prone to tearing off whenever they passes rough and harsh terrains. The Panzer IV forms the heart of the German Army after the fact that it was the normal/medium workhorse of the war before the Panzer V "Panther" was produced, which came in late.

Special AbilitiesEdit

The tank is known for its normal capabilities. The tank usually deals medium damage to almost every tank units in the game, whilst dealing quite much damage to artilleries. A group of three or more Panzer IV can usually take out Bunkers and MG-42 Positions quite easily. The tank is also good to finish off the last remaining healths available on enemy units, even on their infantries. The tank can travel upto 25 tiles on the road before running out of fuel and can shoot 5 times before running out of its ammunition, both without resupplying. Since it is a tank, only infantries (not enemy infantries) can walk past this unit.

  • The Panzer IV was intended to fight alongside Panzer III, helping them by firing HE ammunitions as its ammunitions at the time wasn't intended to pierce enemy armours.
  • The Panzer IV was also proven successful, just like its predecessor, Panzer III. As a result, its chassis was used to create an even better and more powerful tanks such as the Sturmgeschütz IV (StuG IV), Jagdpanzer IV, Wirbelwind and Brummbär.
  • The Panzer IV is classified as the medium workhorse of the German Army, and each one costs around just 750 golds. If you have so much golds, then it is advised to buy as much Panzer IV as possible as large amount of Panzer IV can be a deadly force towards the enemy.
